Financial Aid

We know that some of our families will need financial assistance in order to send their child to Atlantic Shores Christian School. As a Christian school, we are committed to supporting families that need financial assistance.  Since ASCS does not have an endowment, every dollar of financial aid granted to a family is funded from our operating budget or from the generous support of donors.

If you are in need of financial aid, your financial aid application must be submitted directly to our outside provider, Smart Aid. To apply online, click on the link,  When submitting your application, please be sure that all the submission requirements (see below) are provided to Smart Aid. There is a $35 application fee that is paid directly to Smart Aid at the time of application.

Returning Families: Returning families must apply for financial aid and re-enroll (pay Books & Enrollment Fee and electronically sign their family contract) by April 30. Returning families who re-enroll and apply for Financial Aid after April 30 will receive a reduced financial aid award from the school.

New Families: New families may apply for financial aid at any time. However, a new family applying for aid must have submitted an application to ASCS and paid the $75 New Student Application Fee prior to being considered for financial aid.

Important Notes:

  • The school does not offer financial aid for K3, K4 or half-day kindergarten students although “multiple child” discounts will apply.
  • Financial aid is granted annually; past receipt of aid does not guarantee assistance in the future.
  • Families receiving financial assistance are required to immediately enroll in the Tuition Management program and use the monthly automatic bank draft system unless they pay in full by June 1.

Submission Requirements: Although Smart Aid provides clear instructions for applying for financial aid, please note that Atlantic Shores Christian School requires that the following items be submitted to Smart Aid with your application:

  • Current paystubs for both parents (please note this is not listed by FACTS but is required by ASCS)
  • Current year IRS Federal Tax Return with attachments as defined by FACTS
  • Current year W-2 Wage and Tax Statements

Note: Incomplete submissions to Smart Aid will not be reviewed until all submission requirements are met.

Once Smart Aid has received and evaluated your application, the Financial Aid Committee of ASCS will provide written notification to you within approximately four weeks. This grant offer will then be incorporated into the school’s financial contract and tuition calculation that you receive from the school’s business office. If you have any questions about financial aid, our business office is more than willing to answer your questions or walk you through the process.

Please allow us to help you in any way possible.
