At Shores, we strive to have a team centered on having the ball, dictating the tempo of the game, and moving the ball quickly to create attacking options. We strive to be in possession of the ball as much as possible, and we work towards creating players that can problem solve on the field in every situation. Our training is built around providing situations and solutions to these problems in an enjoyable setting revolving around small-sided games and exercises.
On the other side of the ball, we aim to teach players how to read and assess each situation defensively, and we commit to working together collectively to regain possession of the ball to attack.
Our desire to be great drives us in all facets of the program.
At Shores we offer players an opportunity to grow up and mature in a competitive and challenging training environment. Athletically, our goal is that each day our players are being built up higher and higher, which includes individual work, spiritual growth, strength training, speed and agility training, position specific training, and team training.
At Shores, our overarching goal is that each athlete would grow further towards Christian maturity, and our team aims to promote this in each of our player’s lives. My desire is to develop soccer players who are committed to the program, and to building one another up.
