Atlantic Shores strives to provide the most specialized and relevant academic instruction possible (Colossians 3:23). Curriculum is Bible-centered, presenting a Christian worldview (Colossians 2:6-8) Academic success at ASCS requires a unified approach, involving teachers, students and parents.
Providing a Shores education is not simply a job - it is a calling. Our teachers are committed to using their gifts and fulfilling the call of God upon their lives through the training up of our students. They recognize the trust that both parents and our administration have placed upon them. All of our teachers are degreed and certified through the Association of Christian Schools International.
Attending Atlantic Shores is considered a privilege and a sincere commitment. Students agree to abide by a Bible-based code of conduct that encourages them to continually seek and follow Christ's example in what they think, say, and do.
Our students spend time each day, not only learning about God, but praising Him. We encourage this through prayer, Bible study and music that lifts up the name of the Lord. Students regularly attend chapel services, participate in small groups, and other special events.
Our elementary campus is equipped with a state-of-the-art computer lab, bringing our children the latest in technology. Each elementary classroom (K5-6th) has a computer for student use. All classrooms are equipped with projectors that connect to the internet and assist in subjects that can be enhanced with more thorough visuals.
Our secondary campus has a Media Center that allows the students to gain education both inside the walls of ASCS and outside through the educational internet offerings. The Media Center is the hub of the innovative Smart technology that each classroom utilizes. It also houses a video booth and editing room for learning.
Both campuses offer every student a complete Fine Arts education in the visual, musical, and dramatic arts. Our students are supported nutritionally, with each campus having a fully-equipped kitchen, offering a hot lunch program.
The secondary campus has a gymnasium supporting 29 athletic teams throughout the school year that include both boys and girls.
The faculty of Atlantic Shores is comprised of over 60 committed Christians from diverse backgrounds. Our teachers maintain certification with the Association of Christian Schools International.
